The Bowman Family
About The Bowman Family
Luke and Melissa Bowman, together with their sons Harrison, Campbell and Jock, operate a beef cattle breeding enterprise on their property ‘Springfield,’ located near Barraba, an hour north of Tamworth. They run an Angus cow herd joined to Wagyu bulls as part of their breeding program, with the progeny sold to feedlots. The cattle graze a mix of native pastures, improved pastures and fodder crops.
The Bowman family are proud to be a third-generation Scots family. Luke (’92), Harrison (’23) and Campbell (’24) are all Old Boys, while Jock (’27) is currently attending Scots.
Looking ahead, the Bowmans are passionate about helping other rural families access the Scots boarding community and were eager to support this program.
